The company FERRATUR won the 213 award for Good Health & Safety Business Practices, organised by the Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB). The award recognises the work carried out in work-site safety and the systematisation implemented by the company in terms of collective protection on all projects carried out by the company.
Ferratur Constructions is a pioneering company in the establishment of techniques to ensure construction workers’ safety, with tight supervision of the safety measures in place to ensure the physical integrity of all operators.
Since 2010 the CAEB has recognised companies that show commitment to workers’ health and safety. The other organisations to receive awards in 2013 were the San Joan de Deu hospital and the Grúas Mallorca crane company. Previous companies such as Meliá Hotels and Servicios Técnicos Portuarios have won the award, which is promoted by the Foundation for Health And Safety in the Workplace.
